Thompsons Plant Hire is pleased to announce the purchase of our second HYUNDAI this year with the arrival of the new Hyundai R320LC-9 Excavator, one of the first "DASH 9" machines of this size in the UK.

This is a monster excavator weighing in at over 32 tones and it comes with a host of new features. It is designed for performance and economy, with the added benefit of remote tracking allowing the relay of operator information back to the fleet manager.

The cabin is spacious and was ergonomically designed to allow high visibility with low noise levels. Great care was given in creating an open, clear and convenient interior that has excellent visibility in all directions. The well-balanced operators environment enables the operator to be in the best position to work safely and securely.

The Hyundai R320LC-9 features an advanced cluster with 7-inch wide color LCD screen that allows the operator to toggle through his personal machine preferences. Power and work mode selection, self diagnostics, optional rear-view camera, maintenance check lists, start-up machine security and video functions are integrated into the cluster to make the machine more versatile and the operator more productive.

Operator safety has also been improved with a new steel tube construction used for the cab, giving a higher level of protection and better durability. The front window mechanism has also been redesigned with spring assist. Boasting a reliable, fuel efficient and powerful Cummins Tier III QSC engine the Hyundai R320LC-9 Excavator is a welcome addition to the Thompsons Plant Hire fleet.
